After 13 years in the television news industry, I decided to make a career change. In 2016, I founded Brokaw Lawn Company.  Brokaw Lawn now offers lawn and landscaping services to customers in Mecklenburg, Union, Gaston, York, and Lancaster counties. Among the services we offer are lawn maintenance, turf treatments, lawn restorations, sod installation, flower & plant installations, mulch & pine needle installations, drainage installations, grading, outdoor lighting, yard cleanups, and more.

As part of my involvement in the green industry, I serve as a board member for the Carolina Green Industry Network (CGIN). I am also a member of the Turf Council of North Carolina (TCNC) and volunteer for Project Evergreen’s GreenCare for Troops program.
