At 22,  I embarked on my first real estate deal. Instead of the traditional extravagant wedding, my husband and I opted to celebrate the beginning of our journey together by getting married on the front steps of a little home we purchased.  That initial plunge into real estate set the stage for a succession of more than a dozen successful deals together.  Each transaction became not just a financial opportunity but a lesson in growth and resilience. For years, we navigated the market independently, honing our skills as FSBO investors, buyers, sellers, and landlords of short and long-term rentals.

Growing up watching us conduct real estate transactions, it wasn't surprising when our son decided to buy his first investment property at age 21 (he beat us by 1 year!) To broker deals for my sons, I needed credentials,  so I obtained my North Carolina broker's license, which immediately opened doors to amazing opportunities in commercial real estate.  

Joining Yaeger Development Services in 2023 marked a significant milestone. No longer just an individual investor, I now work on a team facilitating transactions for a diverse clientele.   During any random week, you'll find us helping a new investor purchase their first multi-family rental, a small business owner negotiate better terms on their lease, a developer purchase land for a subdivision, a mom-and-pop restaurant open their second location, a retiree dispose of his family business, or locating the best property for a multi-million dollar 1031 exchange.
