Meet Scott
Financial Advisor for Edward Jones
Member of Indian Land
I work to help individuals and families committed to their retirements in an increasingly complex and volatile investment environment live comfortably, creating meaningful legacies using long-term diversified strategies.
I joined the financial services industry in 2008 and Edward Jones in 2020. I earned a BA from West Virginia University and MBA from Liberty University. Prior to my career in financial services, I served in the US Army and retired after 23 years of service, split between active duty and the reserves. I hold the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation from the College for Financial Planning. I take pride in knowing that I have helped countless families in the community plan for their investment and retirement goals.
I live in Waxhaw, NC with my wife, two boys and our two goldendoodles. As an avid lifelong outdoorsman, I especially enjoy fly fishing. I am a volunteer with our local BSA Scouts Council where I teach the art of fly fishing to our Scouts, working to instill the values of being detail oriented and good stewards of the wild to preserve the gifts of nature. While I prefer to catch and release native and wild trout in the backwaters, I do happen to catch the occasional tree.
