Owner/Physical Therapist for Catalyst Athletic Rehab and Performance
I have been practicing as a physical therapist for over 18 years, and have had my own business for 7 years. I earned my Bachelor's in Biology at Taylor University (IN), while also being recognized twice as a member of the NAIA Academic All-America Team in football. I completed my Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina in 2003. I have been practicing in orthopedic clinical settings ever since then, focusing on treating neuromusculoskeletal injuries and conditions in my clients.
In 2012 I competed a rigorous 4+ year fellowship training program in manual therapy, and was awarded status as a Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. In 2013 I earned recognition as a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. These qualifications are held by less than 1% of all physical therapists practicing in the US, and reflect a commitment to a higher level of treatment for my clients.
My practice is a private-pay clinic which treats clients exclusively one-on-one for an hour. I specialize in treating athletes and active individuals to overcome injury and pain to accomplish their fitness goals. I also work with individuals that want to be more active, but injuries keep getting in their way. Treatment in my clinic often consists of: patient education; appropriate exercise to reduce pain, build strength, or improve activity tolerance and performance; manual therapy including spine and extremity joint mobilization and manipulation; and dry needling.
